Cancellation, Refund and Payment Processing Policies

Cancellation

To help manage your financial commitment, ScanCode offers a free trial period where you may cancel your subscription plan within the first 21 days and receive a full refund, no questions asked. 

You also may cancel your plan at any time, but will be billed - and responsible to pay for - the entirety of your purchased plan schedule, which runs on either a monthly or annual basis. Email us at info@scancodeqr.com and we will begin the cancellation process.

 

We also offer the flexibility of monthly or annual subscription periods to help you choose the best option for your budget. 

Refunds

ScanCode provides a 21-day trial period where a full refund is permitted, no matter what. Contact us at info@scancodeqr.com to expedite the refund process. Outside of those first 21 days, ScanCode does not permit refunds on plans except in two (2) cases:

  1. Because of recurring technical issues with your ScanCode. Such cases are handled by the executive team and a decision will be made on a case-to-case basis. To request a refund or usage complaint, contact us at info@scancodeqr.com.                                           

  2. When a recurring payment is made because auto-renewal was active, but you did not intend to renew.

 

  • When you purchase a ScanCode subscription, auto-renewal is kept active by default. This occurs so that your account and dynamic QR Codes remain active and your end-users (those who scan your ScanCode) are not adversely affected. However, you may cancel auto-renewal at any time via your account settings.​

 

  • An email notification is sent to you whenever a recurring payment is made on your account. However, we understand that sometimes there can be a delay in cancelling auto-renewal. If you notify us within 10 days of annual renewal or 5 days of monthly renewal that you did not wish to renew your account, ScanCode will make a full refund of your last recurring payment. The refund will be made to your credit card within 48 hours and you will receive the amount credited back to your card within 7-10 business days.​

Payment Processing

Your subscription begins as soon as your initial payment is processed. Your subscription automatically renews each month or year, depending on your payment plan selection. You authorize us to store your payment method(s) and to automatically charge your payment method(s) every month or year until you cancel. We will automatically charge you the then-current rate for your plan, plus applicable taxes, every month or year upon renewal until you cancel. You will receive an email each time your card is charged.

ScanCode reserves the right to change the pricing points of our subscription plans. We also may alter plans' renewal rates and we will notify you via email of any rate or renewal changes with the option to cancel. If the applicable tax changes during your monthly or annual term, we will adjust the tax-inclusive price for your plan on your next billing date.
